-For me , politician life must be
separed of private life . Indeed ,
we judge workeurs about what the
do and no about how they live.But
nowdays with TV and internet ,
private life take a too much
important place and it's very
dangerous for our politician future.
-On one hand, spend billions for a
big LHC could seems useless Indeed
instead of encouraging the research for cancers or others diseases governement prefer give money for a dark project.On the other hand , scientists could discover fantastic things about particules , and maybe it could be help others researches .

Well! That's a good beginning despite the numerous mistakes....
Personnaly, I built an opinion with around me and around me is my private life.
Thus private life and policy can not be separate.
Moreover,do a parallel between the two is a good way to judge the sincerity and consistency of the candidate.
_Regarding the LHC
it is not a waste of money and we must not stop the progress. The science is not at the origin of global probs and in general the science is neither good nor bad only applications are(Einstein).
With LHC scientists hope find nature of dark matter, reason of disparition of antimatter and other...
Well, what is the probleme of the planet
pollution, global warming, rising water...
Geologic evolution set aside, those problemes solved by joint action from everyone and technologic answers by manufacturer.
As far as I'm concerned, they surely have to separate private and professional life, but it's impossible. For example, about Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol, her pregnancy is an important part of her success because it agrees with her mother's state of mind ( Sarah is anti-abortion ). So to conclude, even if they want, they couldn't. That's why they use this for their advocates.
LHC is a hole of money ! I can't believe that they pay third times the initial price. Sure, it's obviously a great toy for the scientists, but It's high time they helped the persons who die of stavation for example. I'm studying in a "sciences-way" but I think it was a selfish choice. Mankind wants to go forward, but it's losing itself.
In the one hand, I think it's really difficult to separate professional and private life for politicians because they're job is to represent us, cytizens, so I think it's obvious for us,cytizens, to judge them as politicians and human.In facts, how could we know if their professional face are just masks to fulfil their aim. It would be such a pity to find out that our president is, in his private life, the opposite of his professional "him". But in the other hand, I guess that base a campaign around the private life of opponents is just a trick for the coward who can't raise the cityzen by their own word and idea.Finally I think it's a good thing for cytizen to know about the private life of politicians as long as it isn't for the sake of the other politic side (because it is as if cytizen were fooled)
LHC, Large Hadron Collider, what an incredible thing, it really is one of the greatest thing that the humanity has ever created (from a scientific point of view).It would be such a huge jump for the science to discover the secrets of the anti-matter, but as far as I remember, all scientific headway were really a pain for the humanity, for exemple, the "nuclear fission" which is the roots of the nuclear bomb. Unfortunatly it's common to see some amazing discovery tranformed in weapon which would just kill more and more human (discovery of the iron==> birth of sword, discovery of the powder==> birth of gun, discovery of "chemie"==>birth of chimical weapon...).And if by any chance the LHC would bring the humanity to create a new weapon, it would be the "star" of the potential third world war, and as A.Einstein say : I don't know what would be the weapons of the next worl war, but the weapon of the fourth should be stones and wood"!
But let's quite this way of thinking, the LHC really is great, but it's far to cheep, and I'm quite sure that with the money used for this we should be able to help people to live, to food themselves. Finally the LHC is amazing for scientist, but do those who agonise of starvation ask themselves about the anti-matter ?I don't thinkso.Then, from a social way of thinking the LHC is just a shamefull waste of money.

-To begin I think that American policy is too much access on private life rather than policy ideas. And the phenomen is spreading a little in Europe and France.Furthermore, even if gossip are easy to understand as policy, we must not forget that Sarah Palin may be leaded the most powerful country in the world. Finally, I think that most Americans do not understand policy and that is why they consider the private life of their future Presidents of the United States.
-Personally I think that the sum was spent in this machine is justified ... but in the long term! Indeed, for the moment the machine has already been out of serviceand closed due to a technical problem.However in the short term money could be spent against the fight against hunger for example or other. But I think that the LHC will discover amazing things that will become to (very) long-term essential to humans. It is experiences like these that allow humanity to progress (for good or evil) and evolve. Finally, I hope to be alive when this machine will discover a thing which will revolutionize the world.
-For me, I am not really for or against the mixing private/politician life. the good thing is that we can discover the really personality of the politician and it could help us to chose he political party. unfortunely, the media d not hesitate to make speak the smallest thing uninterested of his private life and finally it does not deal with of his target but his name of hishairdresser! it is realityTV .
-Concerning the LHC, it is right that to spend so much money to built scientifist experience which may be not succeed is really useless on front of the misery and the poverty there are in the world. Now, if the science do not find other way to see the univers mistake, then maybe the science must advance and this is a exmple although i dont agree on the point. there are too things that the science must preoccupy( green effect house,the rising of sea or pollution ..).

Given that the LHC represents the biggest worldwide experiment, scientists can spend more money to conceive it. This way, people could know more about the earth and the universe. However, scientists must not endanger the humanity. It is all the more awesome as this experiment is not an easy target to realize. So, 5 billion pounds is not so expansive. Furthermore, they are going to spend more. However, this money could be used to help poor people to improve their life style. For instance, in Congo where a lot of people try to survive. This way, the true question would be this following one: Which goal is the most important? Is it people health or particles which compose the universe?
I think policy and private life are two different words. Indeed, the politician must not take advantage of his power for himself. It is forbidden. Besides, he represents all the citizens. He works to rise his country in several goals. Such as the rise of the economy, the citizen right and homework... The more, corruption increases, the more the leaders could lead their country to a disaster. So it is high time, all the governements acted against abuses.
personally,I think that is important that private lives of politicians should be revealed because people should know every thing about those who govern them.
Moreover,private live reflect profissional life,for exemple,if one politician couldn't make a success of its private life,how he will be able to make a success of his professional life?
so every politician must agree with the publication of his private live,if not he must be leave his post,and entrust it to another that can be a oppened book in front of people.
